If you have any immediate questions, please feel free to shoot me a text, give me a call, or send over an email.
Figuring out where to start can be tricky. Any of the three resources below would be great first steps.
Which best describes you?
(A) I would like to take a class on how to buy a property. I'm just starting off and am in the research phase.
(B) I am ready to find out exactly how much house I can afford. I think I'll be buying a house in the next 6 months.
(C) I would like to get set up with market updates and have a consultation with Jackie directly.
Home Buyer's Workshop
Jackie hosts regularly scheduled FREE Home Buyer Workshops in and around Austin, TX. Whether you are a 1st time buyer or homeowner looking for a refresher, these are a great way to meet your real estate professionals, get an overview of the process and meet other people who are on the same homeownership journey as you. What we discuss each step from getting a loan to picking up your keys.
A pre-approval determines how much money you can borrow to buy a home. Unless you are purchasing with cash, it is VERY important to complete this step before you start shopping around. In fact, I often recommend to my clients (especially 1st time buyers) to go through the pre-approval process at least 6 months prior to when you want to actually buy a home. When you fill out the buyer questionnaire, you'll be giving Jackie the information she needs to best serve you. You will also get set up with access to the MLS, which is the best thought of as Zillow, but way more accurate. It is actually the database real estate agents use directly when they are listing property, so it has the MOST accurate information. People have also said the questionnaire has helped them put thought into their wants and their needs regarding their home purchase that they otherwise hadn't thought about.
