Throughout the home buying process, you will interact with a number of real estate professionals from Title Agents to Home Inspectors, but the two professionals that you'll be speaking with the most will be your Real Estate Agent and your Mortgage Loan Officer/Lender. It is important when choosing your mortgage professional, that they are:
knowledgeable
responsive
honest
a good communicator
To be honest, these aren't traits you can verify in just one interview. It takes going through the motions together to really be able to determine the quality of a lender.
